At the beginning of May, the President of Romania promulgated (and will come into force) a normative act amending Law no. 10/1995 on quality in constructions.
Thus, according to the new changes, the individual or legal investors will be bound to allow the use of the construction only after acceptance of the reception at the end of the construction works, both in the case of new investments and in the case of interventions for the existing constructions that were not used during the execution construction works.
These provisions did not exist in the old law.
Failure to comply with these provisions will be sanctioned by a fine of between 20,000 and 40,000 lei.
